Getting started

Open ScreenMind and allow access to your photos. The app finds the screenshots already on your phone and starts reading them in the background. You can browse and search immediately — recognition continues as you go.

Why is text recognition still running?

The first time, ScreenMind reads every screenshot on your device. For large libraries this takes a little while, but it happens in the background and you can use the app the whole time. Each screenshot is only read once, and it resumes where it left off if you close the app.

A screenshot's text is wrong or missing

Open the screenshot and tap Re-run to recognize it again. Recognition quality depends on the original image — very low-resolution or heavily stylized text is harder to read.

Does ScreenMind work offline?

Completely. Everything runs on your device, so you can use it in Airplane Mode.

Where is my data stored?

Only on your iPhone, in the app's private storage. Nothing is uploaded. Deleting the app removes all of its data.

Managing a subscription

If you purchased a subscription, manage or cancel it in your Apple ID settings: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple through the App Store.
